CNC Grondstoffen

Lemmen Construction was very glad to get the job to realize TB 6 turnkey for CNC Grondstoffen and were able to live up to the expectations of CNC Grondstoffen.

Director Jack Lemmen is proud of the end result. “CNC Grondstoffen and Lemmen Construction are both decisive and flexible organisations, so the collaboration went extremely well.” A great deal of attention was paid to safety and environmental aspects and the use of sustainable materials (including stainless steel). The new tunnel facility is extremely reliable.

Local residents in the area surrounding the CNC Grondstoffen site were able to keep a close eye on the plans for the construction of the new TB 6 facility.

“The management took the trouble to present its plans to local residents and these were discussed openly en honestly.”

TB 6 became operational in the spring of 2009. It is 154 metres long, 64 metres wide and fully equipped. It comprises areas for the technical department, a spawn repacking area and a cold store. The loading hall for mycelium-permeated compost features a moving overhead truck filling unit, a supplementary feeding installation, a CO2 installation and a weighing facility. There is also a high-tech air-treatment system that ensures a good environment for the people working in the new tunnel facility. With TB 6 CNC Grondstoffen is ready to face the future.
